ReapFall Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 November 2026
Publisher and contact
ReapFall is published under the name Pixel Forge Studio. This policy describes information handled by us in connection with the Windows PC release of ReapFall and this privacy website.
For privacy questions or requests, email luciteck@gmail.com. Please mention ReapFall so that we can identify the relevant request.
Information stored by the game
ReapFall stores progress and preferences on your device. This includes coins, playtime, character and stage unlocks, achievements, run statistics, campaign progress, and display, audio and control settings. Save files may also contain internal identifiers used to record gameplay progress consistently.
This Windows release does not require an in-game account. It does not include publisher-provided cloud saves, online multiplayer, player chat, in-game advertising or in-app purchases. Local co-op uses the same device. Achievements are stored locally; Xbox services are disabled in this release.
We do not implement a publisher-operated service for uploading save files or gameplay analytics. Local saves are used to provide the game's progression and settings features.
Diagnostics and platform services
ReapFall uses the Unity engine, which can create local diagnostic logs and crash information. These files can contain device and graphics-driver details, error messages and file paths. File paths may include the name of your Windows account.
This release is configured with Unity Analytics and cloud diagnostic reporting disabled. This does not control the separate data practices of Microsoft Store, Windows or other software on your device.
Microsoft processes information associated with obtaining and using the game through Microsoft Store and Windows under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Information about Unity's own processing and privacy choices is available in the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Information you send by email
If you contact us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any name, screenshots, logs or other attachments you choose to include. We use this information to reply, investigate the issue and handle your request. Email providers process messages as necessary to deliver, store and secure email. Our contact address uses Gmail; see the Google Privacy Policy. Please avoid including passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.
We do not need access to your local save files to answer a privacy request. If troubleshooting requires additional information, you can decide whether to send it.
Visiting this website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit it, Cloudflare receives technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time, to deliver and protect the website. Cloudflare's handling of this information is described in its Privacy Policy.
We do not add advertising trackers, embedded analytics, marketing cookies or data-entry forms to this website. The website does not receive your ReapFall gameplay or local save files.
Use, sharing and retention
We handle information to provide the game's local functionality, respond to messages, investigate problems, protect the website and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis for handling correspondence or website security information, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests and operating a secure service, or on applicable legal obligations.
Service providers may handle information where necessary to provide hosting, email delivery and platform services. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. These providers may process information outside your country; their policies describe their own processing locations, protections and privacy choices.
Local progress and settings remain on your device until removed or replaced. Backups and temporary recovery files may also exist. Uninstalling the game may leave some local files behind. To remove local progress, close the game and remove its save files and associated recovery copies from your Windows user application-data folder. Removing progress files resets progress; removing settings files resets preferences. An existing installation may retain files under the game's former Horde Escape name to preserve earlier progress. Check both current and legacy locations when present, since retained legacy files can restore earlier progress. Contact us if you need help identifying the correct files.
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and any related legal obligations or disputes. You can ask us to delete correspondence that we no longer need. The retention of information handled independently by Microsoft, Unity, Cloudflare or your email provider is governed by the relevant provider's policies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, restrict processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the address above to make a request. We may ask for limited information needed to identify the relevant correspondence and verify the request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority where applicable.
We cannot remotely retrieve or delete save files held only on your device. You control those files and any backups you make. We do not ask players to provide a child's age or create child-specific accounts. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, a parent or guardian can contact us about its removal.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the game's information-handling practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. New online, account, analytics or Xbox service features will be covered by an updated policy when introduced.
